Eye Candy from Trina Turk

I'm loving Trina Turk's bold graphic pillows. Lots of color and fun shapes.

Isn't the embroidery beautiful? It makes me want to learn.

This pillow was one of my favs and is called Santorini embroidered.
It was close between the Santorini and the below Later Gator for my favorite, but the Later Gator takes the win. It's sooo perfect.

And it can be purchased with a matching rug. It would be perfect in a big bathroom.

Convex Mirror

Did anyone else read Matters of Style's awesome re-do about her convex mirror the other day? The style of the convex mirror originates from the early Federalist period and emphasizes clean lines.

I love the timeless simplicity of these beauties and I love how Matters of Style gave it a modern twist. I'm bidding on a few mirrors right now on Ebay (hope I win!). If I do, I will have big plans for my new favorite accessory.

News Flash!!

via LEB: Domino is back, baby! The design world will be rejoicing with this news.

Silk Scarf Pillows

I love the sophistication of a beautifully-crafted silk scarf. Sometimes I struggle to wear all my scarves on a regular basis though.

For my new apartment I thought it would be great to incorporate a few of my scarves in to the design of the space. Martha Stewart has a very easy tutorial on how to make silk scarf pillows on her website that I'm going to try. It's such a unique way to add a pop of color and interest to a room.

Another idea is to frame scarves. I'm imagining a colorful interest wall full of vintage silk!

Well Said

Schumacher

I LOVE Schumacher and have for years. Arguably, they make some the most stylish and sophisticated textiles on the market. Here are a few of my favorites.

Whether you are looking for something traditional or modern, they've got it. The catch? The price!
