It wasn't until last week that I first heard about Blackberry Farm when speaking with a client. She had just returned from an "unforgettable" long weekend at the luxury hotel in Walland, TN. Of course after our conversation, I had to check this place out for myself. Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Blackberry Farms offers gourmet cuisine, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, hiking, and a stunning mountain view. Recently, it was ranked as Travel and Leisure Magazine's number 1 vacation spot in North America- take a gander at the pictures and you'll understand why.

The Power of White

Consider David Florimbi and Nancy Simon's home in Santa Barbara. Recently featured on Apartment Therapy, they renovated this ranch style abode, opening up the ceiling and floor plan to make it brighter and airier. David happens to be an artist and much of work is displayed throughout. The white floors, walls and ceiling provide a blank canvas for the couple's colorful art and collectibles to stand out.
