Easter Weekend: Restaurants in Review

I had the delight of entertaining my parents this weekend for Easter. We had so much fun! In between various activities, we made quite a dent in the DC restaurant scene. Here's a recap of this weekend's good eats. Friday Night:

Lobster Crostini with Caviar: sherry, herbs, & butter poached maine lobster, bocconcini mozzarella, paddle fish caviar

Some More Co Co: chocolate crème brulee, toasted marshmallow, graham crumble, chocolate brownie, chocolate malted shooter

 

 Chocolate Onyx: dark chocolate mousse, vanilla crème brulee, salted caramel, crispy chocolate pearls, brownie, chocolate sorbet, cinnamon toffee bon bon

Lamb Sliders: curry & coconut organic lamb, zesty potatoes & green peas, lime yogurt crème, rosemary & parmesan fries

Chicken Sliders: tandoori chicken patties, cardamom carrots & greens, rosemary & parmesan fries

Sunday Brunch:

 Poste Mary: Horseradish, Jalapeno infused Square One Vodka and Chef's fresh garden tomato recipe 

House Made Doughnuts: chocolate ganache, lemon curd, seasonal jam

 

Croque Madame: gruyere cheese, VA ham, mornay sauce, sunny side up egg, pomme frites 

 

Eggs Hussarde: crisp potato skins, poached eggs, merchand de vin sauce, benton's bacon

 

Challah French Toast: grand marnier, orange supremes, benton's bacon

On a final note, I'd like to formally apologize to my mother for being so gauche at the dinner table. Although snapping photos isn't what you consider appropriate, such means were unavoidably necessary!
